Job summary

Kindred Hospital San Francisco Bay Area, operated by ScionHealth, is seeking an Environmental Services team member. You will clean and service building areas, move equipment, and maintain a neat, safe hospital environment to support extended patient recovery.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, trash removal, linen handling, and assisting with furniture setup. Previous acute care experience preferred; fluent English required.

• Must read, write and speak fluent English to comprehend instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services building areas; moves furniture, equipment and supplies.
• Cleans assigned area with germicidal solutions.
• Sweeps, mops floors and vacuums; spot cleans carpet.
• Cleans restrooms and replenishes essentials.
• Collects trash and sanitizes cans and area.
• May collect and transport hazardous waste for sterilization.
• May collect and distribute clean linen.
• Arranges furniture for meetings and events.
• Returns unused supplies to supply closet.
