Kindred Hospital Rancho is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to clean and service building areas, move furniture and supplies, and maintain a neat, safe, and sanitary hospital environment.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, cleaning restrooms, transporting trash, and assisting with waste disposal, with a pay rate of $23.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. This role supports patient care by ensuring a clean and safe environment for staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas (walls, doors, tile, fixtures, patient TVs and equipment) with germicidal solutions.
• Sweeps, mops floors and vacuums carpet; spot cleans carpets.
• Cleans restrooms, vanity areas, showers and commodes; replenishes essentials.
• Collects and removes trash; sanitizes garbage cans and compactor area.
• May collect and transport hazardous waste in a special container; sterilize before disposal.
• May collect soiled linen and distribute clean linen.
• Arranges furniture for meetings, workshops and community events.
• Returns unused supplies to janitor closet, keeping inventory orderly.
