Job summary

Advanced Building Maintenance is hiring an Environmental Services Aide (EVS Aide) to uphold a clean, safe hospital environment. Responsibilities include cleaning patient rooms and common areas, disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and operating cleaning equipment in accordance with facility protocols.

The role requires prior janitorial experience, knowledge of infection control, and strong teamwork. Candidates must be able to work flexible day/evening shifts and follow safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Understanding of infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms and hospital spaces per protocol.
• Empty trash and biomedical waste; ensure proper disposal.
• Disinfect surfaces, equipment and fixtures to prevent infections.
• Restock supplies such as towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Operate cleaning equipment (vacuum, buffers, steam cleaners).
• Report maintenance needs to Environmental Services Director.
