Job summary

Agiliti is seeking a Hospital Service Technician I to manage equipment flow within a hospital setting, ensuring devices are patient-ready and properly serviced. The role requires communication with clinical staff and adherence to hospital protocols.

The position is 2nd shift (2:30p-11p), Wednesday through Sunday, located at Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, KS. A high school diploma and healthcare customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience required and prior hospital experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays, plus emergency off-hours for 24/7 coverage.
• Able to lift/push up to 75 pounds and stand/walk long periods.
• Able to bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Delivers equipment to patient rooms or standby locations in patient-ready condition with software, accessories, and disposables.
• Communicates confidently with clinical staff about equipment features and functionality.
• Provides quality service, meets company and customer metrics.
• Picks up, cleans, and processes equipment, preparing it for patient-ready use per protocols.
