NYU Langone Hospitals in Brooklyn seeks a full-time Clinician Educator at the Instructor/Assistant/Associate Professor level to serve as Hospital Epidemiologist. The role includes leadership in infection prevention, occupational health, and clinical infectious diseases services across NYU Langone Health sites.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with eligibility for NY medical licensure.
• Fellowship or board certification in Infectious Diseases required.
• Experience in hospital epidemiology or infection prevention is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead hospital epidemiology, infection prevention, and occupational health initiatives.
• Provide clinical consultation and support outside routine hours as needed.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based infection prevention policies and practices.
• Support antibiotic stewardship initiatives and collaboration with OPAT.
• Mentor fellows, residents, and medical students in clinical infectious diseases.
• Champion quality improvement to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
• Advance use of AI/clinical decision support in care delivery across units.
• Help meet length-of-stay targets through collaborative care planning.
