Job summary

Broward Health Medical Center is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate to perform routine cleaning, floor refinishing, and light housekeeping duties. You will operate floor care equipment and assist in moving supplies while maintaining the sanitary conditions of departments.

Qualifications

• Not required for this position.
• Under one year must have floor cleaning/waxing experience of at least 6 months.
• Hospital or healthcare experience highly desirable
• Bonus Exclusions may apply in accordance with policy HR-004-026

Responsibilities

• Performs repetitive cleaning tasks and maintains the sanitary condition of assigned areas.
• Assists in moving furniture, equipment and supplies in and around departments and performs a variety of light housekeeping duties.
• Strips and refinishes floors and operates a variety of power equipment and provides more complex and deeper cleaning.
