Job summary

Virtua Health in Marlton, NJ is seeking a part-time Environmental Services team member to help maintain clean, safe spaces for patients, visitors and staff. The role supports on-site facilities with a 32-hour, first-shift schedule and may require coverage across multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities include cleaning, trash removal, linen distribution, room setup, and adherence to universal precautions.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to speak English required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains Virtua facilities as directed, including cleaning, trash removal, linen distribution and room setup.
• Maintains universal precautions to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Safely handles and disposes of regulated medical waste and other trash.
• Responsible for proper chemical usage and maintaining a safe environment, including storage of chemicals.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May assume linen responsibilities as required.
• May be required to work in other facilities as assigned.
