The University of Miami Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Technician – Full Time to help maintain a sanitary, safe, and orderly environment across the facility. You will follow established cleaning methods, use only approved supplies, and report areas needing attention to your supervisor, contributing to patient and staff safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or one year of related housekeeping experience).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. In lieu of education, one year experience in housekeeping in hotel/motel/commercial/industrial sanitation or health care.
• Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Good communication skills in oral and written form.

Responsabilités

• Follows established cleaning methods and procedures.
• Uses only cleaning supplies and chemicals approved by management.
• Adheres to safety, waste disposal, dress code, and patient information guidelines.
• Reports areas needing special cleaning or repairs to supervisor.
• Assists in maintenance of equipment and organization of supplies.
• Adheres to University policies and safeguards University assets.
