Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL seeks a dedicated Environmental Services Associate to keep patient areas clean and safe. Day shift, full-time position with comprehensive benefits. You will follow hospital policies, operate cleaning equipment, and interact respectfully with patients.

This role requires English communication, basic computer use, and willingness to work at height ladders. Prior custodial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Knowledge of environmental services equipment and chemicals.
• Basic computer skills to include mouse and keyboard.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in clean, safe condition.
• Ability to climb and work on a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas daily and disposes of waste per policy.
• Transports soiled linen and waste safely.
• Reports equipment issues and maintains tools.
• Interacts professionally with patients and staff.
• Documents assignments after completion and suggests improvements.
