Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a full-time Environmental Services Associate to maintain a safe, clean hospital environment. Responsibilities include sanitizing patient rooms, public areas, and ancillary spaces while adhering to infection control practices and safety protocols.

Responsibilities also cover stocking carts, disposing of waste, and responding to alerts. Excellent English communication and ability to read MSDS are required, with 6 months ES experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate in English.
• Must read and understand MSDS and product labels.
• Must be able to follow oral and written assignments and have basic environmental duties knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Document all work performed and maintain knowledge related to sanitizing and infection control.
• Clean patient rooms, public areas, restrooms, offices and ancillary rooms.
• Stock carts daily with paper products and cleaning solutions; collect and dispose of trash.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and respond to hazards or emergencies.
• Travel to assigned areas as needed and respond to pager/overhead pages.
