Job summary

Atrium Health Union is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Technician to perform complete cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, washing, floor care and waste removal. The role requires adherence to infection control guidelines and safety standards, with 7a-3:30p shifts in a 40-hour workweek.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, tuition assistance up to $5,250 annually, paid parental leave, and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Preferred: One year experience
• Can prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner
• Can operate equipment

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas to include, but not limited to: dusting and sanitizing furniture, equipment, mirrors and fixtures
• Washing windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures
• Sweeping, scrubbing and refinishing floors
• Vacuuming and shampooing carpet
• Re-stocking restrooms
• Replacing light bulbs
• Reporting repairs
• Heavy contact with cleaning chemicals, disinfecting agents, floor strippers and finishes
• Removes waste by collecting and transporting soiled linen and trash
• Maintains safe working environment and adheres to infection control guidelines
