Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Associate to clean patient and public areas, follow infection control standards, and document daily activities. You will support bed throughput using handheld tech and stock necessary supplies.

Required are strong organizational and communication skills, ability to read/understand instructions, and basic computer use. CNA certification and healthcare experience are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Organizational and communication abilities required.
• Verbal and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong English reading/writing/speaking essential.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of environmental services equipment, chemicals preferred.
• Must read MSDS and product labels.
• Full knowledge of basic environmental duties expected.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned patient and public areas daily and disposes of waste.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards in all tasks.
• Documents all work performed and uses Bed Management system for bed throughput.
• Stocks supplies and ensures access to cleaning solutions and paper items.
• Cleans areas with potential biohazards according to facility policy.
• Operates cleaning equipment and uses standard janitorial tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
