Job summary

Independence Health System is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Associate to join our hospital operations in Ohio. You will clean and service assigned areas, handle waste and linens, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.

The role requires reliable, organized individuals who can multi-task, follow procedures, and communicate effectively with staff. Travel between locations may be required; shift work and on-call coverage are possible.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to follow department procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services assigned hospital area/facility.
• Performs routine cleaning requests from customers within departmental duties.
• Performs daily cleanup and care of equipment and materials.
• Maintains hospital standards of cleanliness.
• Collects and transports waste and soiled linens per procedures.
• Records supplies and data on forms.
• Moves furniture as needed in patient areas.
• Travel locally between Independence Health locations.
