Oceans Behavioral Hospital Broussard is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe environments across patient rooms, clinical areas, and public spaces. You will perform routine cleaning, terminal discharges, and linen handling while following infection control policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications include high school diploma, ability to read labels, CPR certification, and willingness to supervise others.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and ability to read/write labels and inventories.
• Ability to supervise and work cooperatively with others.
• Knowledge of infection control, safety principles and related training.

Responsabilités

• Clean and sanitize all areas per established policies.
• Disinfect patients' rooms and baths daily.
• Perform terminal cleaning after transfers or discharges 100% of the time.
• Clean, dust and sanitize nursing stations, non-patient areas, laundry room, restrooms, dining rooms daily.
• Follow infection control procedures and universal precautions at all times.
• Handle waste disposal following bioburden procedures and chemical guidelines.
• Monitor equipment and manage linen and supply usage cost-effectively.
• Report broken or defective equipment and complete work requests.
• Carry out other duties and projects as assigned.
