Job summary

LewisGale Hospital Montgomery is seeking a hospital housekeeper (part‑time) to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff in a fast‑paced hospital setting. You will perform daily cleaning tasks across assigned areas, including patient rooms and common spaces, with emphasis on infection control and safety.

The role requires at least a year of housekeeping experience and a preference for a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year Environmental Services or Housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize floors, walls, windows, doors, fixtures, furnishings, stairways, elevators and patient rooms.
• Perform cleaning tasks that are maintenance or restorative in nature.
• Follow Infection Control policies and use proper tools and lifting techniques.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability as areas change based on hospital needs.
