Deaconess is seeking a dependable Environmental Services Technician (Housekeeping) for the second shift at our Evansville, IN hospital. You will clean patient rooms, disinfect surfaces, and support daily operations to maintain a safe healthcare environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms and assigned areas following infection prevention standards
• Follow PPE guidelines and healthcare safety protocols
• Work safely in patient care areas with isolation precautions (contact, droplet, airborne)
• Safely clean areas with exposure to bodily fluids following safety procedures
• Perform floor care, window and wall cleaning, waste removal, linen transport and other housekeeping duties
• Maintain organized supply areas and support department needs
• Participate in team huddles, training and continuous improvement efforts
• Provide excellent service with compassion and respect for patients, families and coworkers
