Job summary

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation (TCRHCC) is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services worker to maintain infection control and cleanliness across the hospital, including patient rooms, ER, and operating areas.

The role requires rotating day/night shifts, adherence to Navajo Preference policies, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and successful completion of background checks and screenings. Training on PPE and safety protocols will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) months of general housekeeping experience.
• Must have a valid State Driver’s License: Class D with no restrictions.
• Must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
• Successful completion of background checks and fingerprint clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Disinfects patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways and other areas daily.
• Cleans fixtures and surfaces; mop floors and remove trash daily.
• Laundry and linen management; deliver clean linen to patient areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of ER, OR suites and other units as directed.
• Follow infection control standards and PPE protocols.
• Complete all required employment-related documents and screenings.
