Intermountain Health in American Fork, Utah is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to maintain sanitary and safe facilities for patients and staff. The role operates on a 5:00 PM–1:30 AM shift with a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays, in both American Fork Hospital and Saratoga Springs Clinic.

40 hours per week with shift differentials for evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. The position requires experience in professional housekeeping and the ability to follow cleaning

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated communication skills to differentiate color-coded labels and/or chemicals and to follow written and/or verbal directions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed to meet department needs.
• Demonstrated professional housekeeping experience. (Preferred)

Aufgaben

• Clean and disinfect assigned areas using department cleaning procedures.
• Uses cleaning chemicals properly according to Joint Commission and OSHA standards.
• Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash.
• Handles and cleans up emergency spills per department guideline, Joint Commission, and OSHA standards.
• Follows all infection prevention practices (PPE, hand hygiene, isolation precautions).
• Maintains work and storage areas following established safety policies.
