Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to keep patient rooms and hospital areas clean and sanitized, protecting patients and staff from infections. You will perform routine cleaning, learn proper disposal of biohazard materials, and assist with delivering clean linens and supplies.

Qualifications

• None, upon hire.
• Preferred: High School Graduate General Studies and healthcare experience.
• Preferred: High School GED General Studies and healthcare experience.

Responsabilités

• Complete daily cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas and equipment.
• Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and waste disposal following guidelines.
• Follow infection prevention practices and HIPAA.
• Operate EVS tools and assist with facility needs as required.
• Mentor new Environmental Services Tech I employees.
