Job summary

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital in Conway, SC is seeking a PRN Environmental Services Technician to maintain a safe, clean hospital environment. Responsibilities include daily housekeeping of patient rooms, offices, and public areas, waste removal, bed making, and upkeep of furnishings, while adhering to service excellence standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; hospital or hotel environmental service experience is preferred; ability to lift up to 50 pounds;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous hospital and/or hotel environmental services experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment with aptitude for attention to detail is required.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The position involves standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching.
• Must be available during inclement weather to maintain roads and grounds for safe operations.

Responsibilities

• The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for daily housekeeping routines, cleaning patient rooms, offices and public areas.
• Remove trash and waste from designated areas, make beds and maintain facility and furnishings in a clean, orderly fashion.
• Dust furniture, clean windows, and replenish supplies to ensure a safe, hazard-free environment.
• Support an organizational culture of Service Excellence and follow Service Excellence standards with all customer groups.
