Job summary

Audubon County Memorial Hospital & Clinics is seeking an Environmental Services Tech to maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly hospital environment. The role involves dusting, washing, disinfecting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors, plus gathering and disposing of refuse and handling laundry.

The incumbent will work in an autonomous yet team-oriented setting on a full-time, 40-hour schedule. A high school diploma or GED is required, and English reading/writing/speaking is mandatory.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• The ability to read, write and speak English is mandatory.
• Prior experience in a laundry and/or housekeeping position is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to maintain a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive hospital environment.
• Dust, wash, disinfect furniture and equipment, sweep, mop, and scrub floors; gather and dispose of refuse.
• Launder, dry, fold, and put away linens; assist with general housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain entryways and exits free of trash and ensure glass doors/enclosures are clean.
