Qualifications

• Attends and participates in staff meetings and in-services as required.
• Assists in orientation of others and mentoring where needed.
• Demonstrates an understanding of hospital policies and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains floors, walls, windows and furnishings.
• Operates cleaning equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Collects medical waste as required by Infection Control.
• Performs cleaning to prevent spread of disease and maintain a sanitary environment.
• Works with the team to ensure patient rooms are cleaned per policy.

Education

High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent related work experience
