Hawaii Health Systems Corporation (HHSC) Kaua’i Region is seeking EVS Workers to join the housekeeping team at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital. The role involves routine cleaning of patient rooms, restrooms, and public areas to ensure a safe, sanitary environment for patients and staff.

The EVS Worker II position requires lifting, operating heavy cleaning equipment, and potential travel to other HHSC Kaua’i facilities. Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or the equivalent preferred.
• Experience: None required.
• Licensure: A current State of Hawai'i type #3 driver's license is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms, operating rooms, restrooms and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize using heavy cleaning equipment; assist in waste handling.
• Respond to urgent cleaning requests and travel to other facilities within the region as needed.
