Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Socorro General Hospital seeks a dedicated Housekeeper/Environmental Services Tech to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for patients, visitors and staff. This full-time role includes varied shift times and contributes to infection control and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Less than high school.
• Less than one year experience in housekeeping duties.
• Must have a current New Mexico drivers license.
• Must be insurable by Presbyterian Healthcare Services.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all areas according to departmental standards.
• Follows infection control procedures for linen, waste, and cleaning.
• Demonstrates awareness of the PI Program, Excellence in Action, Competencies, and Presbyterian's Mission & Vision.
• Maintains and uses housekeeping equipment safely.
• Reports pertinent information to the supervisor.
• Performs departmental record keeping.
• Maintains linen and supply levels.
• Performs floor care.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all areas according to departmental standards.
• Ensures proper infection control procedures when processing linen, trash, medical waste, and performing cleaning tasks.
• Demonstrates awareness and understanding of the PI Program, Excellence in Action, Competencies, and the Mission & Vision of Presbyterian.
• Maintains and uses housekeeping equipment properly and safely.
• Reports pertinent information to the supervisor or appropriate authority.
• Performs departmental record keeping.
• Performs all duties necessary to ensure appropriate linen and supply levels.
• Performs floor care.
