Kindred Hospital Brea is seeking an Environmental Services Team member to keep patient areas clean, safe, and sanitary. You will move furniture, transport supplies, and perform a variety of cleaning duties in a 48-bed hospital setting.

The role requires reading and speaking fluent English, good attendance, and the ability to handle supplies and equipment safely. Acute care experience preferred, with a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English to comprehend instructions of cleaning materials.
• Good attendance is required.
• Experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selects cleaning materials/supplies and prepares cleaning solutions.
• Loads service cart and transports to work area.
• Cleans assigned areas with germicidal cleaning solutions.
• Sweeps, mops floors and vacuums carpet; spot cleans carpet.
• Cleans restrooms and vanity areas; maintains sanitary conditions.
• Collects and removes trash; sanitizes garbage cans and compactor area.
• May collect and transport hazardous waste in a sealed container for sterilization.
• May collect soiled linen and distribute clean linen.
• Arranges furniture for meetings, workshops and community events.
• Returns unused supplies to janitor closet in an orderly manner.
