Job summary

St. Davids North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Hospital Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in clinical and non-clinical areas in line with hospital policies.

The role emphasizes safety, sanitation, and proper handling of waste and linen, with a focus on professional appearance and adherence to standards. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of healthcare or housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or service-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean clinical and non-clinical areas of the facility in accordance with departmental and hospital policy.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies.
• Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, Hazmat, solid waste and linen.
• Maintain and adhere to Environmental Service uniform and personal appearance standards at all time.
• Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions.
