Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; must obtain within 18 months of hire.
• Ability to speak, read and write basic English.
• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual housekeeping duties in a sanitary, orderly and clean manner to maintain hospital facilities.
• Contributes to a safe, welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Supports departmental initiatives and teamwork within Garnet Health Environmental Services.
