Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ experience in Environmental Services in Healthcare, Hospitality, or Contract Cleaning services.
• Preference for prior hospital Environmental Services experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and floor care duties in assigned areas daily according to infection control and SOPs; handles cleaning chemicals per manufacturer guidelines.
• Monitors staff activities and directs assignments under supervisor; documents space quality and coordinates with management.
• Responds to emergency spill cleanups and ensures safe, compliant operations; maintains effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Inspects and cleans patient equipment when assigned and verifies equipment PM stickers where applicable.
