Job summary

Virtua Health in Camden is seeking a part-time Per Diem Custodian to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for visitors, patients and staff. You will perform cleaning, trash removal, linen distribution, and room setup.

The role requires English language ability and prior customer service experience; training includes universal precautions and safe handling of regulated waste. Competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to speak English required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains Virtua facilities as directed, including cleaning, removing trash, linen distribution, and room setup.
• Maintains universal precautions to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Safely handles and disposes of regulated medical waste and other trash.
• Responsible for proper chemical usage and maintaining a safe environment, including storage of chemicals.
• Other duties as assigned.
• May assume linen responsibilities as required.
• May be required to work in other facilities as assigned.
