Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Environmental Service Associate to help maintain clean, safe patient rooms and common areas across multiple Phoenix locations. You will follow sanitation protocols, assist with patient comfort, and support housekeeping services on day shifts.

Responsibilities include room cleaning, waste disposal per safety rules, stocking supplies, and reporting maintenance needs. Prior healthcare experience is preferred but not required; a High School diploma is requested.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• 6 months of experience in environmental services or related healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of patient care areas following procedures and sanitation protocols.
• Performs morning and evening patient room rounds, inspects rooms, empties trash, refreshes bathrooms.
• Disposes of hazardous and infectious waste per protocols.
• Monitors corridors and common areas, clears clutter, and stocks linen and supplies.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and stages equipment for pickup.
• Reports maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate team.
