Responsibilities

• Vacuums, sweeps, mops, buffs offices, corridors, stairs, stairwells, walls, furniture and equipment.
• Uses extension pole, ladder and scaffolds while cleaning walls, ceilings, washing light fixtures, changing drapes, changing cubicle curtains.
• Shampoos and changes rugs when necessary.
• Cleans patient rooms where infection control is critical.
• Collects and transports linens to laundry; returns linens to assigned areas.
• Gathers and disposes refuse as directed.
• Cleans restrooms, disinfects surfaces, and replenishes supplies.
