Salinas Valley Health Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services staff member to support hospital cleanliness and hygiene. Responsibilities include stocking materials, cleaning carts and equipment, and maintaining sanitary conditions throughout patient areas.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to follow procedures, and reliable performance for a 40-hour work week with varied shifts. High school diploma preferred; no licensure required.

Formación

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate complex housekeeping equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Selects and stocks materials and supplies; maintains carts and equipment.
• Cleans and restocks carts and fixtures; performs duties per department procedures.
• Cleans assigned areas; vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops.
• Removes trash; arranges furniture and equipment for housekeeping tasks.
• Restocks soap, tissue, towels, gloves and disposable items.
• Collects and transports soiled linen; reports repairs to supervisor.
• Performs special housekeeping projects and reports hazards promptly.
