Valley Springs Behavioral Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary hospital environment. The role supports patient areas, offices, and common spaces, with daily tasks including cleaning rooms, restrooms, and corridors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls and windows daily or as scheduled.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub and/or shine floors; replenish supplies and maintain restrooms.
• Operate vacuums and floor scrubbers and report malfunctions.
• Collect and remove trash daily and assist with moves or room changes as needed.
• Adhere to infection control policies and report safety hazards.
