Job summary

Trinity Health Livingston is seeking an Environmental Aide to maintain clean and safe patient areas in a full-time day-shift role. You will perform general cleaning tasks, follow infection control standards, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (preferred), good reading and writing in English, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Training will be provided and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Requires reading and writing in English.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and write English; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning tasks to maintain patient towers, public areas, exam rooms, offices, etc.
• Identifies safety risks and follows safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains an environment that is clean and conducive to patients, visitors, and coworkers’ well-being and safety.
• Assists in staff training and department activities to improve quality and patient care.
• Keeps corridors clear of clutter, equipment, and hazards for safety and aesthetics.
