Job summary

St. Luke’s Anderson Campus is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to perform general cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms and hospital areas across multiple shifts. This role supports a major expansion project designed to improve heart care and patient outcomes.

The position requires adherence to cleaning procedures, safety guidelines and teamwork within a fast-growing hospital environment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 3–6 months of hospital housekeeping experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–6 months of housekeeping experience in hospital or institutional setting preferred.
• Ability to follow all applicable cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Uses appropriate cleaning supplies and chemicals according to procedures.
• Cleans and prepares patient rooms, beds, stretchers, and assigned areas.
• Scrubs, mops, and buffs floors.
• Dusts and polishes furniture.
• Cleans interior windows, woodwork, toilets, washrooms and fixtures.
• Cleans sinks in kitchen and tables/dining areas.
• Removes trash to designated stations.
• Follows schedules, sanitation and safety requirements.
• Attends department meetings.
