Job summary

LifePoint Health's University Hospitals Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to support infection control and patient care areas. You will clean assigned areas, restrooms, and common spaces, stock supplies, and ensure facilities meet sanitation guidelines while following hospital procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Preferred
• Previous Clinical Housekeeping experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas thoroughly, ensuring sanitation regulations and Infection Control standards are met.
• Cleans, sweeps, dusts, mops, and polishes assigned areas or buildings.
• Stocks assigned areas with basic supplies.
• Checks area after cleaning to ensure guidelines are followed.
• Documents cleaning procedures and follows department standards.
• Communicates cleanliness status to appropriate personnel.
• Complies with JCAHO, OSHA standards for chemical use and documentation.
• Reports inventory and supply needs to supervisor.
• Identifies safety hazards and takes action to ensure safety.
