Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of hospital areas including patient rooms, units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways.
• Washes windows, walls, floors, beds, furniture on patient discharge and ensures clean conditions.
• Transports trash and hazardous waste to proper disposal area and replenishes supplies.
• Follows infection prevention and control practices, including handwashing and standard precautions.
• Completes work assignments in a timely manner and reports repairs needed to supervisor.
