Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to perform cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, auxiliary areas and other hospital spaces following established guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three to six months of housekeeping experience in hospital or institutional settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares patient rooms, beds, and assigned areas.
• Uses appropriate cleaning supplies and chemicals per procedures.
• Scrubs, mops, and buffs floors; dusts and polishes furniture.
• Cleans glass, fixtures, sinks, and dining areas.
• Removes trash to designated stations; follows sanitation and safety requirements.
• Attends department staff meetings and maintains a clean, sanitary area.
