Mercy Medical Center Redding is seeking an Environmental Aide to clean and maintain hospital areas in a sanitary, orderly condition, promoting a safe environment for patients and staff.

You will follow proper disposal techniques for biohazards, apply specialized cleaning methods, replenish supplies, and deliver clean linens to patient rooms while upholding high standards of cleanliness and infection control.

Competenze

• One year recent work experience
• Previous housekeeping experience in an acute care facility

Mansioni

• Applies efficient and safe use of housekeeping equipment and solutions according to policy and procedure manuals.
• Cleans all areas using approved cleaning procedures and disinfectants as per departmental guidelines.
• Handles chemicals and solutions per MSDS standards with proper labeling and usage.
• Notifies management of equipment repairs or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Cleans assigned carts and equipment daily and returns them in an orderly fashion.
• Replenishes supplies to ensure availability and readiness.
