Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, seeks an Electrician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical power distribution equipment, fire alarm systems, and nurse call systems, using blueprints and manuals to diagnose failures and source parts.

You will assist in training other electricians, help enroll in continuing education, install new equipment, ensure accurate paperwork, and document all activities in the TMA system.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical testing equipment.
• Knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• 2–4 years technical school training or 7 years’ experience in the electrical field required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical power distribution equipment, fire alarm systems, and nurse call systems.
• Work with blueprints, schematics, diagrams, handbooks, and manuals to diagnose failures and select replacement parts.
• Assist in training other electricians on preventive maintenance and operation of new equipment.
• Assist Lead Electrician in locating information about continuing education classes.
• Install new equipment and document all activities and work orders in the TMA system.
