Job summary

Kootenai Health is seeking a Facilities Electrical Maintenance role in the Facilities - Facility Engineering department. This full-time position covers evening/night shifts with a focus on inspection, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures and appliances in compliance with codes.

You will read blueprints and wiring diagrams, apply safety procedures, and perform a range of complex tasks.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited training school in electrical; Idaho license pathway may be accepted via reciprocity.
• Must be able to read blueprints, equipment schematics and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance service and repairs in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, and related areas.
• Knowledgeable in safety procedures in area(s) of specialty.
• Performs a variety of complicated tasks and repairs.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance and meets unit age-specific needs.
