Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of federal, state, local, OSHA and Joint Commission codes.
• May be required to furnish own hand tools.
• Requires a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience in commercial or institutional environments with electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment and circuits, including power distribution systems, motor control centers and backup emergency switch gear.
• Follows preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment life.
• Participates in remodeling and construction planning and execution.
• Reviews building management systems for remodeling and long-range planning.
• Coordinates or leads project plans and trains colleagues on skills.
• Provides leadership and mentorship to the team.
