• Manage inventory in and out, ensuring accurate issuance and crediting of supplies.
• Operate department inventory computer system and hospital EMR system. Take PAR level orders using handheld devices and deliver orders to designated locations.
• Maintain organized and efficient supply storage areas.
• Receive and process incoming freight, generating delivery documents as needed.
• Restock and deliver equipment and procedure carts. Sort and stage incoming and outgoing mail.
• Provide phone support, handling multiple calls while maintaining proper etiquette.
• Assist in training new staff and staying up-to-date on process changes and new procedures.
• Prioritize workload to ensure efficiency and accuracy, following backup plans for system or hospital downtime.
