Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring immediately for full-time DISHWASHER positions at HSHS St Elizabeth's Hospital in Jacksonville, IL. Schedule 10:30 am to 6:30 pm; days may vary. Previous dishwashing experience required.

You will maintain dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen areas in sanitary condition and support overall departmental sanitation and safety standards. This role offers a stable full-time opportunity with benefits and the chance to contribute to patient meals

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience required.
• Experience in a food service or healthcare kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and ensures cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and maintains sanitation standards.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Removes trash and assists with loading/unloading supplies as needed.
