Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• County Specific requirement.
• County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing machines and hand-washes large pots, pans, and utensils.
• Clean and sanitize counters, tables, and equipment while maintaining hygienic work areas.
• Sort and store clean dishes, trays, and utensils in proper locations for upcoming meal services.
• Assist food service staff with assembling meal trays, setting up cafeteria lines, and transporting carts.
• Dispose of food waste, recyclables, and trash according to hospital safety and sanitation rules.
