Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a part-time staff member to support the Patient Feeding team at the Burnet Campus. The role involves setting up and delivering patient trays, maintaining sanitation, and providing courteous service in a fast-paced food service environment.

Work is rotating shifts with a strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and adherence to HACCP standards. Prior hospital food service experience is not required, but a high school diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Duties: set up, operate, and clean the patient tray line, dish machine, pots & pans, and cafeteria; may deliver patient trays.
• Maintain a clean environment for patients, visitors and staff; work as part of a team to provide courteous service.
• Follow proper food handling, temperature checks, and sanitation procedures; meet guest requests.
• Dish room tasks: retrieve dirty trays, wash dishes, empty trash, and haul trash carts.
• Support safety and CARES standards; assist with other duties as assigned.
