Job summary

Westfields Hospital & Clinic is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to support the Food and Nutrition Services team. You will assist with meal preparation, meal distribution, sanitation, and customer service across the hospital setting.

Responsibilities include assembling and delivering meals per dietary guidelines, maintaining sanitary work areas, and cross-training in multiple dietary positions. The role involves occasional catering setup and assisting with special events.

Qualifications

• High School/GED enrollment or completion.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation, assembly, and delivery of patient meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment and food handling areas.
• Safely use and monitor cleaning chemicals.
• Cross-train for at least two positions in the Dietary Department.
• Prepare tables for catering events and assist with special requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
