Job summary

Clarion Psychiatric Center is recruiting a Dietary Aide to support food preparation, cleaning, and delivery of snacks to patient care areas. The role includes restocking drink coolers and assisting the primary cook with meals in a hospital setting.

Education in ServSafe within the first year is required; two years of high-volume kitchen experience is preferred. The position offers competitive wages, health/dental/vision after 30 days, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Duties include food preparation, general cleaning and sanitizing surfaces.
• Two years’ experience as a high-volume cook in commercial or institutional setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation, kitchen equipment and dietary safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and serving daily meals.
• Perform general cleaning including dishwashing and sanitizing surfaces.
• Deliver daily snacks and supplies to patient care areas.
• Restock drink coolers and check dietary invoices against receiving.
• Unpackage products to storage and assist primary cook as needed.
