Job summary

Mercy Health - Willard Hospital is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join the culinary team. You will assist patients with menu selection, deliver meals on a timely basis, and provide excellent patient service in a hospital setting. Shifts include Day/Evening/Night, with full-time and part-time options.

A background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility in the U.S. are required. Vaccination or approved exemption may be requested.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and neat uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, kitchen, fast food, healthcare)

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management to keep the department running smoothly.
