Job summary

HHS is seeking a Dietary Aide to join the Bon Secours Tiffin Hospital dietary team. You will assist patients with menu selections, deliver meals promptly, and provide friendly service to ensure patient satisfaction.

The role requires at least 18 years old, good hygiene, English communication, and teamwork; culinary experience is a plus. Full-time shifts (day/evening/night) are available, with background checks and vaccination considerations as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and deliver meals accurately in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure patient satisfaction with meals.
• Deliver and collect patient menus and assist with meal-related requests as needed.
• Prepare cold and hot items and condiments for meal times while following health and safety policies.
• Support team members and management to maintain efficient department operations.
